“...the former home of the legendary Fort Apache studio where the Pixies recorded early demos and Buffalo Tom, the Lemonheads, and countless others cut tracks...”

Martín Caballero, The Boston Globe

About

From Macklemore and Sheryl Crow to the young artist cutting his first demo, the Bridge Sound and Stage is Boston’s nerve center for making headline-worthy music from the ground up. The Bridge fostered more than forty BMA-nominated artists in 2017 alone, driven by a relentless devotion to community, quality, innovation and evolution.

Since 2009, when Janos Fulop and Owen Curtin transformed the storied Fort Apache Studios into the Bridge, the studio has recorded David Gray, Gucci Mane, the Dropkick Murphys, Keane and Bun B, to name a few. Local luminaries STL GLD (half of the duo is Fulop himself, a.k.a. The Arcitype), TigermanWOAH, Gozu and Dutch ReBelle are also Bridge alums, and newly-minted BMA winners.

As the studio approaches its 10-year anniversary, all of its producers and engineers play integral parts in advancing the mission of the Bridge: to build vibrant partnerships and transcendent musical careers for all artists who walk through the door with moxie, savvy, humility and heart.
